Heritage Walk from Valmiki temple to Marundheeswarar in Thiruvanmiyur

Chennai 2000 Plus Trust and Sri Krishna Sweets presented Heritage Walk and Special Discourse on Valmikiyum, Marundheeswararum in Thiruvanmiyur on January 21, 2016.

A Heritage Walk was organised from Valmiki shrine opposite the ECR bus stop in Thiruvanmiyur to the Marundheeswarar Temple in Thiruvanmiyur. A special pooja was performed for Sait Valmiki at the shrine dedicated to him.

Later, a special discourse was undertaken by Thiru Thiruppur Krishnan, Editor, Amudhasurabhi magazine, at the Marundheeswarar Temple, Thiruvanmiyur, on the topic Valmikiyum, Marundheeswararum. 

The discourse was part of the Pradosham special lectures being organised at the temple by Chennai 2000 Plus Trust and Sri Krishna Sweets.

Earlier, R Rangaraj, President, Chennai 2000 Plus Trust, welcomed the gathering.
